The No Remote Show
I'm an old soul. I spent so much time in my younger years, surrounded by Uncles, Aunts, and Grandparents. I tell people, "I was supposed to be born in the 40s or 50s." Even when I was a kid you had to get up to change the channel on the TV. And we didn't know who was calling us when the phone rang. People even showed up to your house unexpectedly, well cause they were "in the neighborhood". Wherever you grew up you lived a childhood that could never be duplicated. Good times, bad times, we struggled, we laughed, we ate, and we cried.
I want to go back, and hear your story.
They say, you can't live life in the past...but we can hang out there for awhile.

The No Remote Show
The No Remote Show with DJ Doo Wop - EP8
Welcome to the 8th episode of "The No Remote Show". Today we sit down with the legendary mixtape DJ Doo Wop. I remember hopping the train to the Bronx to go buy his mixtapes in the early 90s. His "95 Live" tape goes down as one of the best of all-time. We talk about his childhood in the Bronx, having a supportive family that helped him hone his craft, and some never heard stories about Bizmarkie, Busta Rhymes, and Tracey Morgan. Enjoy!
